All the feels…

Today has been a great day with lots of things happening. It has also been one of those days with all the feels…all the emotions…all the stuffs.

August came home yesterday to return my car. They had been borrowing it from me since August 13. Their car was in the shop. Yup….since before then, actually, the wonderful mechanics had been trying to get August’s car running and safe. It was my fault for trusting a shady person, so I felt it was my job to make sure the car was made safe. It took almost 2 months, but it is done. Whew.

FEELINGS-FEELINGS-EVERYWHERE

So today, for the first time in 5 weeks, I got to drive my car. I took August to breakfast and then they headed off to Ithaca. I ran errands. In between running here and there, I watched Netflix. Shows that make me laugh. Movies that make me cry. All of it…

All the feels.

With August, I visited Louisa at Starbucks. They used to be absolute enemies. Now they are super close (while fighting non-stop).

All the feels.

I studied for my Bio Psych test tomorrow. I am terrified. I haven’t had to memorize anything in a long time, and I fear I have lost the ability.

All the feels.

I took time to think about how overwhelmingly blessed I am. I have a 20 year old kid who has blazed their own trail in life and impresses me with audacity and fierceness daily.

All the feels.

I have a 19 year old, autistic (her words) daughter who is shining at college. The little girl who used to talk to herself (okay, who doesn’t?) and who sings non-stop even today, is in college. She is an inspiration and makes my heart absolutely explode.

All the feels.

I have a 17 year old kick ass daughter. She goes to school and works two jobs. Since third grade, she has been treated like crap by the other girls in her school.  That’s TEN YEARS of being treated poorly. And yet, she has the kindest heart, the biggest smile, and the most sparkling eyes of anyone I know. I adore her.

All the feels.

My evening is winding down. I am doing laundry and further meal prep. I am cuddling with puppies and thinking about the week ahead. I cannot help but be amazed by all in my life.

All the feels.

I would not ever, ever, give up what I have for anything. I have so many friends who love and support me. I have children and a husband who bring me joy daily. I have my parents who have carried me so far over the last (almost) 48 years. And I have a mere 223 days until I graduate.

All. The. Feels.
