It really was me…

know better do better

If you read my last blog, you know I was working through the loss of a friend. I honestly did not know what I had done, or why our relationship was ending.

I had a brief bold moment and emailed the link of my post to her.

She answered this morning. She told me how I had hurt her deeply. She explained, in detail. It stung to read it and know I must live with the consequences of my actions.

I am 100% grateful. I apologized, which is just words. But I will carry this lesson with me forever.

Every word can have a ripple effect. Even words spoken or posted while I am under stress… and I own those words.

Thank you all for your reading. I know better now. And I promise, I will do better.

And thank you, dear one, for your honesty. Because of you, I am going to work hard to be a better person.

Happy Monday.
