Lady Parts Surgery Tomorrow

So part of the nonsense that I have been stressing about lately is that my lady parts are not functioning the way they are supposed to. And after some testing, it has been decided that there are things in my uterus that are not supposed to be there.

It is likely just polyps, but they gotta go in and dig them out. Then they have to do biopsies to make sure they aren’t anything bad. While they’re digging around in there, they’re going to do an ablation to help with my lady issues.

So it was a rough couple days before I knew what was in there and why I was in pain all the time. Now that I know, and know it will most likely be resolved tomorrow, I am much more relaxed.  A big part of me is hoping that they get in there and decide the best course of action will be to take it all out!!! Pretty, please?!?!?!

Anyway, this brings me to another topic of conversation…

Why do ‘lady problems’ embarrass so many people? I mean, half of our population has the same damn equipment. If I was having something removed from another body part, I would have probably made it known immediately! “I have a tumor in my brain! Pray for me!” or “There is a growth in my lungs, please think good thoughts!” But since it’s in my uterus, it’s hush-hush.

Isn’t that kind of stupid? I have gotten so much strength from my friends with whom I have discussed this who replied to me, “Oh yeah! I had to have something like that done!” I had never known that, because no body wants to talk about it. Well enough of that BS!!!

Let’s lift each other up and support each other. Let’s TALK about the hard stuff and the messy stuff and the lady parts stuff.

And I can assure you, if they discover anything scary in there tomorrow, I will be shouting it from the rooftops. It may sound a little more joyous than it should, because that would mean they really can take it all out!

Oh, and while I was looking for uterus memes, I found this one. It made me chuckle: boys uterus.png

Okay, enough about my lady parts. Hopefully after tomorrow it will all be resolved. In the meantime, let’s keep building each other up, talking about the hard stuff, and sticking together.
