Time to clear out the cobwebs…

And I don’t mean at my house. Those cobwebs can feel free to get comfortable. Dusting has never been something I do often. I think I have even said that on this blog before… I don’t dust until the dust bunnies are big enough to name. So there ya go.

No, I’m talking about the cobwebs that have grown inside my brain since I graduated from college *cough* 24 *cough* years ago.

Twenty-four.

Twenty-four!!! Twenty-four years, people! I work with people who were not born yet when I donned my cap and gown and crossed the stage to get my diploma. So yes, it has been quite a while since I was the student.

I think I am ready. I am close to it, anyway. I suppose the reality of that won’t hit until after my classes actually start. I have been reassured by many people I will be fine. I will do fine. I will succeed. How ever you say it, I have been told it. (I suppose it is unlikely that anyone would say, to my face, “You’re gonna fail!!!”)

My bag is ready. My books (except for one…still working on that) are purchased. I have pens, pencils, and folders. I am excited to the point of wanting to jump up and down. Seriously. I. Could. Burst.

It’s going to be a long journey to my Master’s Degree, and I imagine I will change focus a few times along the way, but let’s do this.

Time to make the donuts!!!

Let’s Get It Started
