I have been wanting to change the domain name of my blog for a while. Since I no longer have 3 girls, being momof3girlz feels disrespectful of August. I have made some small changes already, but Regina reminded me that my blog still reflects their pre-transition existence.  Although I suspected I would not be able to change the domain, I chatted with site support from WordPress today. They were very helpful, although they confirmed that it is impossible to change my domain. I am going to have to cancel the existing site and start a new one. The content on this blog will not go away, though. I guess there is that.

So I think I like this name…. kathoknitzandwritz

I know it’s silly and whatnot, but it stays true to my original momof3girlz and also rhymes if you pronounce it like this, “katho knits and Ritz” (hee!) although I kinda want it to be pronounced “katho knits and writes” so there ya go.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this little tidbit. I did change the username to kathoknitzandwritz but won’t be able to change the actual domain until it is up for renewal in October.
