I am not clear or concise, professional or precise.
I am a cautionary tale to the under-achievers of the world.
Potential? I had loads of that stuff.
I got all the awards. I was on all the lists. Recognition abounded.
But I did not see my own value beyond that which the world had assigned me.
Now I am an adult. Yup, I admit it.
I am blessed beyond measure with family, friends, a great job and my faith.
When I look in the mirror, I have to pause to let the image of what could have been go away.
Once I let go of all that nonsense I said before, I can clearly see who I really am.
I am a child of God. And I am exactly who He meant for me to be.
