grumble grumble grumble

having one of those days, teaching. i realize that my students are not in ‘regular’ school for a reason… they have too many emotional, personal or social issues for it to work.

what is getting to me today is the constant need to talk. the students i have right now want to talk all. the. time.

i start to teach, they talk. i speak one sentence… they have to reply. i start with a lesson, they launch into an explanation about how they FEEL about that particular subject. JUST. LET. ME. TEACH.

ugh. and sigh. and GAH!

ok, i’m done now… for the moment. it’s 11:52, so they will all be leaving soon. thank goodness for my assistant who is going through paperwork with them. but even so… each thing she tells them, they have to comment.

shut up. really. now. please? stop talking… stop. really. now. STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!
