today is the last day of school for my girls. they only have a half day, which means they are nearly done already! they were so excited to go to school today, just because it meant they were DONE!

it is interesting to watch these little creatures grow. soph is going to the jr high next year. she is such a great kid! her sense of humor is subtle and sarcastic… a lot like mine. she has great compassion for most everyone (except her sisters) and is so darn smart. i am thrilled with the way she is moving through life and will be amazed by where she ends up!

mia has had more than enough of fifth grade. she needs a break. of course, i signed her up for summer school… that’s the mean mom in me. it’s actually more of a social skills group, though, so she will have fun.

louisa is emerging from her little girl-ness into a middle schooler. even soph noticed that lately, louisa has been…well… bitchy! gotta love puberty.
